ChangePlan Ltd has a wide range of experience in most types of architectural design from new dwellings to school makeovers to flat conversions to Manor house restorations.

We carry out a full range of architectural services from site surveys to feasibility studies to submitting planning and building regulation applications.
We tailor our services to the specific needs of the client, whether taking the project from conception to final handover or providing additional complimentary services to work alongside your current design team.
Using CAD technology means our drawings are produced to the highest degree of accuracy and allows data to be shared easily and quickly. Alterations to such work can be carried out in a fraction of the time that traditional drawings take to revise.
We can prepare drawings for clients, from information supplied by them. We can pool together data from a wide range, which makes the drawings not only less expensive than if the client had to re-produced the drawings themselves but frees the client to choose the most effective services.
We are firmly committed to investing in new technology. However, we combine a variety of disciplines along with Computer Aided Design (CAD), which enables us to produce much more cost-effective and better-presented work.

ChangePlan's Smart Surveying

AutoCAD® Autolisp routine to survey buildings.

Using a Leica Disto® connected via bluetooth and utilising Leica's PC transfer©, you can easily step round a building / room taking successive measurments of walls, openings (doors & windows) & locations of sockets etc, having AutoCAD® draw the layout as you measure.
Using the 'Horizontal Distance' combined with the 'Angle of Inclination', the application determines the position and direction of the walls, doors, windows, symbols etc.
The application is limited to 90° walls, but markers can be used to add information for later amendments.
